Philosophy
Every business is a reflection of the owner. The healthy parts of the business produce “good fruit” and the unhealthy produce “bad fruit”. All fruit comes from a root. To lift the ceiling simply requires aligning the misaligned roots.
Good Fruits
Most business owners I know have similar desires – more growth, profit, value, time, balance, purpose, impact, etc.
I call this good fruit – the things we want more of in our business and life.
What many owners aren’t aware of, though, is that to produce good fruits from your business, you have to align the roots of your business.
Because everything we experience, create, or have externally – our fruit – is the result of the alignment or misalignment of our roots internally.
Your business is simply a reflection of you.
And your roots determine your fruits.
Good fruits are a sign of health in those areas of your business.
Bad fruits are an indicator that you, the business owner, have reached a ceiling that’s limiting and negatively impacting an area of your business.
Aligned Roots
At some point every business owner reaches a limit, a ceiling, and starts to see bad fruit show up in their business.
It’s not because they did anything wrong. It’s simply that they have grown and reached the limits of their current capacity.
At this point, if the owner wants the business to rise to the next level, they must expand their capacity and lift their ceiling.
This is normal. It’s simply the process of growth from one level to the next. But it requires intentionality and guidance.
This is work I do.
First stepping in alongside the owner and diagnosing the fruits.
Then carefully and collaboratively aligning the misaligned roots of the business, starting with themselves and expanding to each area of the organization.
Alignment changes bad fruit to good. Alignment increases capacity. Alignment lifts the ceiling. Alignment opens up the next level.
Simple, but not easy…
